Twinchies

Here are the twinchies I promised from my other post. The theme was orange, black, white and you could use 1 more colour. Very challenging, but I do love a challenge. Again I love getting everyones creations arent they beautiful.

Kit swap ATC's

Here is my kit swap ATC and the other wonderful ladies creations all using the same goodies prepared by Greta. This was one of the most challenging ATC's I think I have ever done, but I love how we all get the same recipe, yet they are all so different.

Catch up..

No internet=creativity Can u believe it. Yes thats what happened to me over the weekend. My anti virus software cut my modem off, and me being technology challenged with the inside workings of a computer had to wait until Monday to fix it all. After 2 1/2hrs on the phone to lovely non english speaking tech support people, we are back on line. (I wont tell you all I had to do was click on one bloody button and we would have been a little less stressed all weekend

Anyway this time away from the internet gave me time to start and finish a few UFO's. One was to start my Halloween book which is my indulgence to play with all my stamps and techniques I have been busting to play with. Front and back covers are done, but not decorated yet, 1 page complete, and a few on the go.

I also finished off my Halloween ATC's for a swap I am hosting. I cant wait to see what all the other girls have done.

I also made a little shriney box thingo to put inside my "H" book, horrible photo I know, its not easy taking photos with transparents objects on them. But you get my drift.

I must thank the lovely Jasmin for this wonderful award.

And another BIG thank you to the lovely Susan for this award too.

I know I have to nominate 5 people with blogs that inspire me, but I just find it all to hard to decide on which ones. So I am chickening out this time round, there are just so many inspiring people out there.

Ok postie just delivered my "Twinchies" from a swap hosted by Teresa, so I am off to druel over everyones tiny pieces of art, and will take a photo of them later.

If you have managed to read all this ramble congrats you are now one of my nominees for inspiring people. LOL!!!

Blue Bazaar MM Challenge

This months theme for the Mixed Media challenge over at Blue Bazaar is Ephemera.
Here I made a card using a vintage bingo card and bingo chip and a couple of old admit one tickets.
The card will be getting sent to my Aunty in the UK for her 59 Birthday later this month.

31 pages done...Phewww!!!

Months contemplating, 3 weeks of cutting, 2 weeks of glueing, 1 week of sourcing the right bits and pieces, and 2 1/2 rolls of double sided tape later, my 31 pages are complete for a Collaborative book swap. Wow what a monumental effort that was. I cant wait to get the book back later in the year and see what 31 other wonderfully artistic women have created.

How dare you - August

This months theme over at Aussie Dares is Sand. Initially I struggled with the theme considering I am nowhere near a beach. Then like all things I had a great idea of doing a game/egg timer. Well needless to say they too were hard to find here in the country. I was not deterred, I would find one and that I did. Now I am not looking, what do I see all the time. Egg timers everywhere, ahhh most frustrating.

But seriously I really didnt have to look far to get sand, it was there the whole time, in fact it greets me every morning. The morning ritual of shaking the sand out of the school shoes of 7yr daughter. The endless supply of sand was there along.. Now come and play with sand and post a comment along with a link to your creation with sand.
