This months MM challenge over at BB was "Paint" Lu sent out a canvas kit with paint, tape measure, gum tape and lovely Basic Grey rub ons. So really all I did was aged it all, added some chipboard letters, a key, some flowers and a lovely paper whimsey image and voila canvas complete.
Now off to clean desk ready for the next creation to appear.

Imogen is now a proud holder of a yellow belt for Karate... She did really well this morning even though it was beyond bitterly cold and icy in the dojo..
Well done big girl...

This months theme for Aussie Dares is "Foil." So I made this little arty piece using kitchen foil glued to to some chipboard, then used a texturing embossing plate from Cuttlebug. Painted on some golden paint washes, placed a stamped image on top, then placed 3 microslides on top, soldered them togeather. Used some junk jewellery and charms for decoration and some beautiful shardes of lilac mica as the window, then lastly added a black aging patina to all the silver surfaces...

After a week of wild winds, this is what happened in the early hours of this morning.
A lovely tree in our back yard full of blossoms ready for the hoards of parrots to visit...Not no more now... Lets hope that fence holds up until tree loppers come to remove it. Hope your having better weather where ever you are...
