Busy as a bee.

Busy as a bee I have been this weekend. I have organised an ATC swap over at Blue Bazaar, and we have 22 wonderful people signed up. So busy as a bee I went this weekend creating like a mad woman. The theme is "Winged things".
I made a few extra, seven in fact so if anyone out there in blogland that would love to swap, leave me a comment, then email me. Have I ever mentioned I love swapping ATC's. Last week I recievd a beautiful bundle of wonderfully created ATC's by a lovely lady Judy in the US.http://myartisticside.blogspot.com/ Thank you Judy, I shall treasure them.
Ok off to create something, dont know what now, but I will find something.
Yes dad that is my sunflower finally flowering. Beautiful isnt it...

Yep my babies 1st tooth has just come out, after almost weeks of wiggling and more wiggling..
Must go to bed before the tooth fairy comes, so night all and chat with you later..

Skinny Saturday- Pierrot

This weeks theme at Skinny Saturday is Pierrot. Interesting theme as I have a stamp, but it quite wasnt what I was after, however I remember a trip down to Geelong earlier this year, and on the foreshore they have old pier bollards painted in all different characters. And of course lucky for me, I photographed a pierrot. With a little help of the computer and ink, viola!!! Next to mine is my 6yr old daughters who had to play along tonight as well. Her theme was clowns jugglying the buttons. Isnt it precious... She is going to be so happy to see her work on the net!! God love her..

Back to the ATC challenges on BB

This week we started the ATC challenges again at
http://www.bluebazaar.com.au/ This weeks theme is part of the season series - AUTUMN.
The mushroom image is a napkin mod podged onto a transparency, then stamped with one of my favourite stamps designed by Julie van Oosten for Stampington and Company.
Off to create to something else

Inching artists challenge

Today while it was stinking hot, I decided to follow the inching artist challenges. http://inchingartists.blogspot.com/ Even though they are tiny and fiddly, they are a great way of using your stamps or even parts of them and of course that ever growing scrap stash. This weeks theme is the roaring 20's and I used an image from old old magazine, must have been something like our new idea or womans weekly. Hop over to inching artists blog to follow Lindas greats themes each week.

An ATC

This afternoon I sat down to play with Tim Holtz new grungeboard and some beautiful silver glimmer mist from Tattered angels.
Hopefully now, some of the mojo will get flowing again and I can start playing more and doing what I love doing and that is getting all inky and gluey fingers.
Thats about it for now.

Outdoors fun

The last few days have been so much fun. Yesterday we went for a massive 12km bike ride with my nephew, and Imogen. We rode our way along the Yarrowee creek trail, soaking up all the bush and wildlife. Imogen and I couldnt help but stop to pat this beauiful and friendly horse along the way.
Today we visited the Fairy Park at Anankie just outside of Geelong. And wow that place has changed since I was a child. I had fond memories of a massive silver slide, and Barry had memories of go carts. Well the slide isnt all that big now, or is that I have just grown up, and well the go carts, well perhaps exciting for a toddler and thats all I have to say on that one. Sorry Barry. However this place is wonderful, and I cant wait to go back.
There hasnt been much creating going on, on my desk of late. Well nothing that I can share at the moment. Doing some LO's and stuff for Scrapbook Shenagians however will endevour to do more for my DT position in the coming weeks, thank you Michele for being so patient with me. OK off to rest my sore bum and bones
