J WARD
On Saturday we went up to Ararat to visit J ward which was a jail for the criminally insane. A very interesting place, full of horrific stories and tales.
Of course I was taking photos left right and centre, and it wasnt until I went up to mums the next day and plugged the camera into Dads computer when I noticed an anomly in this pic. Its seems I have taken a photo of another presence in the autopsy room. Enlarge the pic to see more detail but its all there for the naked eye to see.
After the hairs on the back of my neck went down, I emailed J ward with this pic and to see if others who have visited capture the same sort of thing, or if they could explain it furthur.
I recieved an email back from them today, and they will be putting the pic up for discussion with its members, and if they discover anything they will let me know. Wouldnt it be great if someone out there actually knows who this could be. Spooky but also very interesting...

A couple of layouts
A couple of layouts I did awhile ago. The winter one is when we had some serious snow in July on my daughters birhday. Pic was taken at the Botanical Gardens. (wished it was my garden). Sorry about the terrible pic of the LO.
Fire works LO was when I was trying to learn my camera last year in Canberra at the army's "Beat retreat" at the war memorial. Not the best pics, but it is a point and shoot camera after all. My inpsiration for this has to come from Loretta Grayson whose work I admire greatly.

ATC's
Over the school hoildays I went to the local antique shop and boughts some gorgeous vintage/heritage photos. I mainly got them for ATC's but would love the scrap them now.
Here are 3 that I have played around with so far..
Yesterday went to Paperific with mum and bought some gorgeous stamps which I have been playing around with today making some more moo cards for a swap.
Also today we have been making a little halloween scene on the kitchen dresser with a witches cauldron boiling with smoke, spiders, finger nails, and skeletal hands. I cut out witches, bats and scared cats out of black cardstock and stuck them on the wall, you can find all sorts of wonderful templates on marthastewart.com. I will share a photo later this week.
Thats all for me for now..

Up up and away......

This morning we woke to an amazing sight. A hot air balloon that was filling with hot air just across the road from the back of house. We watched it take off, and of course we waved and all the people waved back. Anyway we quickly got dreesed and raced up to Mt Pleasant and to our astonishment their was 16 hot air balloons in the sky. It was so surreal, a truely amazing and memorable sight. The photo over Canberra with all the balloons doesnt do it any justice.
Anyway update on Imogen. Went to the doc again yesterday and once again couldnt find anything wrong with her. If she hasnt come good by Monday she is back to the doc for blood tests. I shall keep you posted.
This afternoon we went down the road to watch Barry play footy. It was a practice match. It was RMC verses ADFA, and RMC won.
Whilst we were there Imogen perked up a bit, so fingers crossed we are seeing the last of whatever it is.

Quick Update
Quick Update on Imogen. Still no good, we took her to the ER at Canberra Hospital early yesterday evening, and after a "very" looooong wait they told us she """might""" have constipation. However we disagreed and they sent us on our way. Today a number 2 came out, so no constipation there, however the little one is in so much pain and is very lethargic, not eating and drinking.
So the plain now is, hopefully she gets a good nights sleep, and assess the situation in the morning, but it's likely I will take her back to the doctors and have it out with them. So I shall keep you updated on Imogen, and fingers crossed all is well in the morning..

Pialligo Apple Orchard

Today Imogen's pre-school went on an excursion to the Pialligo Apple Orchard, which is just down the road. And to much of Imogen's disgust, I went along to assist. Well if you call taking loads of photos assisting, well I did a great job then.
It was a totally organic orchard, and the apples were 'delicous!!' We were able to pick 8 apples, then go back up to the apple juicing shed to watch how juice is made, then able to taste test and buy a bottle. It was 'bonza' I tell you.
Imogen is still a bit off color and seems like the problem is easing, but hasn't totally gone away. Poor little bugger, at least her mind was of her belly for a few hours today, with the apples, and her little mate Georgie who popped over for a play...
